Upcoming events in the Road Show, "Illuminiamo la Grande Bellezza. Veneto"

10/2/25, 12:00 PM

Due torce olimpiche

"Illuminiamo la Grande Bellezza. Veneto - The Land of Venice", is the Road Show project included in the "Veneto in Action" promotional initiatives and includes a travelling campaign exhibiting the two torches for the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The torches, donated to the Veneto Region by the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, will visit every Venetian province, ending in Cortina d'Ampezzo on 26 January 2026, the day scheduled for the arrival of the Olympic Torch.

The torches for Milan Cortina 2026 were created by Eni, a Premium Partner of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, in collaboration with Versalis (Eni), an Official Supporter of the Games.

Eni and Versalis chose Studio Carlo Ratti Associati to develop the design and the Cavagna Group to engineer and produce the torch and its components.

The Olympic torch is in green and blue shades, whilst the Paralympic torch is in bronze tones, both with reflective and iridescent finishes that bring movement and sporting energy to mind.

The symbolic meaning of the torches is reflected in the core values that inspire the Olympic and Paralympic Games: promoting peace, social inclusion, and a sporting spirit as tools of union and collective growth.

The Road Show, in addition to exhibiting the torches, will accompany numerous events, fairs, and regional promotional initiatives in the field of tourism and culture, keeping the focus on the Olympic values until January 2026.

Upcoming Road Show events include:

• on 4 and 5 October in the majestic setting of Villa Contarini on the occasion of Caseus, an unmissable event for lovers of cheese and the authentic flavours of the region;

• on 6 October, the torches will be on display in the suggestive Venice Lido, which will host the Buy Veneto event, where professionals and enthusiasts meet to discover new opportunities and trends;
