A new  Veneto Region–Marsilio Arte co-edition tells the story of the Venice Lagoon through the words of Giovanni Montanaro and photographs of Fulvio Orsenigo.

The book, which is part of a new series dedicated to UNESCO sites of the Veneto Region and inaugurated with the volume "Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene” (The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene), is entrusted to a narrator and a photographer who work together to offer a portrait of landscapes, places, artifacts and communities that illustrate the uniqueness of the UNESCO site and its importance as a public heritage to be preserved.

A homage to this ecosystem in which brackish waters, swamps rich in vegetation and fauna mix in absolute harmony with the natural landscape..

A decidedly topical book for those who want to experience the magic of the lagoon in a context accessible to all.
