Testo governance 2
The Region of Veneto, with Regional Law no. 34 art.2 of 15 December 2021, provides for the participation of the Region in the Fondazione Cortina: the latter organises and promotes activities, events and any other initiatives related to national or international sports and cultural events that can usefully be included in an overall framework of development and enhancement of the territory; this includes the Ski World Cup competitions, as well as the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of Milan Cortina 2026.
The Fondazione Cortina also promotes and organises activities and events that will take place after the conclusion of such events of international scope, aimed at safeguarding and enhancing their legacy.
In this context, and in pursuit of the purposes indicated above, the Fondazione Cortina is also proposed as a support body for the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 for the programming and operational planning of Olympic events.
