Culture permeates the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games by offering a programme of events in the name of inclusion, sustainability and accessibility. This is thanks to a three-year regional planning project aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of the cultural offer, with the involvement of strategic partners who act as a link between the Organising Authority and the general public.

The objectives we have set ourselves include:

• Increase the qualitative and quantitative level of the cultural offer as a whole and in individual areas, and affirm a new model for the enhancement of cultural, tangible and intangible heritage, focused on the development of quality content that ensures a wider use of assets
• Export knowledge of Venetian heritage and cultural excellence
• Render participation of the community of cultural partners closer and more active
• Reach and motivate users, engage and attract them to new destinations, expand and involve the widest and most diverse audiences possible, including the weakest groups, and diversify the public that accesses and benefits from cultural assets and heritage, cultural services, and the offer of live or recorded shows
• Enhance social inclusion, the well-being of the individual, and the community through culture 
• Facilitate the digital transition in the cultural and creative sector
• Preserve and enhance the heritage and identity of the territory
• Increase employment in the sector
• Increase the managerial and digital skills of operators in the sector
• Enhance the attractiveness and tourist-cultural vocation of the territory
• Facilitate fair and widespread distribution of the cultural offer in the territorial areas
