VENETO IN ACTION

The Veneto Region has developed a strategic plan that aims to maximise the positive impact of Olympic events on the educational system of the regional territory, providing initiatives and training courses that can effectively respond to demand generated by the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The main objectives of the training initiatives are:

• to spread the practice of sport in schools: to promote the physical, psychological and academic growth of students
• to promote the Olympic and Paralympic values: friendship, respect, integrity and sportsmanship are key in raising aware and responsible citizens
• to develop technical and professional skills for the Games event.

Among the projects funded for development of technical-professional skills, for the two-year period 2023-2025, and particularly significant in the perspective of the Olympic event, is the Advanced Technician project for promotion and marketing of the Dolomites destination. This is based in Belluno, presented by ITS Turismo and aimed at the training of hospitality professionals in mountain areas.
